Eligible Applicants: Interested parties, including but not limited to private companies, local governments, electric utilities, non-profit organizations, and other eligible entities.
Agency: Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT)
Description: The EVC-RAA program provides funding to eligible parties to improve the availability and reliability of existing EV chargers and support the transition to EVs across Michigan’s communities.
Eligible Projects: Sites that participate in the program will be required to meet Title 23 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 680, which, at a high level, includes the following:
- A minimum of four networked charging ports at each charging station.
- Average annual uptime of greater than 97% for each charging port.
- Minimum of five years of operations and maintenance.
