The MPGA is offering fleet owners propane vehicle rebates to entities residing in Michigan that are purchasing a new propane vehicle or converting an existing vehicle in 2026.

Eligible Applicants
Entities must use a propane supplier located in Michigan. Propane companies are not eligible to receive rebates; however, propane company employees are eligible.
Eligible Vehicles
All propane vehicles and conversion systems must be approved by the U.S. EPA. Eligible vehicles qualify for $3,000 per vehicle/conversion, up to $6,000 per entity/company, and include:
• New OEM propane vehicles
• New propane conversion vehicles (2020 or newer)
• Priority rebate awards will go to entities new to propane – purchasing new, converting new for the first time
All federal and state incentives must be applied before receiving rebate funds, and the funds may be used for the incremental cost of propane vehicle versus gasoline or diesel vehicle only. There is a limit of two rebates issued to any single entity.Â
